The flicker of an idea that has become what Kona Palisades Artists has become grew in my brain for several years until the time was right and the idea became clear.  It has been exciting every year as we approach Tour time, initially identifying other artists to invite to join us, some participating one year, some have embraced the concept fully.  It has now become that the artists seek us out and ask to join us, and a jurying process has been established to help keep the high standards of quality and variety of art to share with our community.  We have some guests who pride themselves for having attended every year and some from the mainland modified their travel plans to ensure they are here that week before Thanksgiving.  We love our faithful fans.  The tour serves to push me to try new approaches and to present a different collection of work for my customers.
